Lindsey and Richard were married on Sunday! It was wonderful. They are so much fun and I just love getting to be around them.
Richard’s family is Chinese so the rehearsal dinner was an authentic Chinese ten course dinner. This was our menu.
Some of the food was really good while some of it was rather interesting. My extra sensitive nose didn’t respond great to all the smells, but it was really neat to get a glimpse of the Chinese culture and traditions!
Before we ate they had a little ceremony where Lindsey and Richard kneeled before their parents and Richards grandparents and exchanged gifts and tea that was what they called the sweetest tea they had ever drank. Richard told us that this ceremony was usually done very privately in the house of either the bride or groom (can’t remember which one), but that they wanted to share it with everyone! It was really neat.
The ceremony was so sweet. They wrote their own vows and I loved them. You could feel their love!
The reception was so cute! The decor was fabulous, and the food was delicious.. It was so much fun!
First dance :) Well actually their second.. Go here to watch their first dance…Lots of dancing at the reception… Soulja boy!
Congratulations again, Mr. and Mrs. Lo!!!!
